Leslie HossackVernissage
Sunday Sept. 23, 2pm to 5pm
DESCRIPTION
The Cold War. This term was born in 1947, and so was Leslie Hossack whose exhibition FALLOUT is featured at Canada's Cold War Museum. Hossack describes herself as a Cold War baby, and vividly remembers the unfolding of the Cuban Missile Crisis 50 years ago. Her photographs of the Diefenbunker seem haunted by disturbing memories. This collection is part of a larger body of work examining Nazi architecture in Berlin and Stalinist structures in Moscow.
