LOOKFEST X Portfolio Review

is a portfolio review for Ottawa area photographers and photo-based artists. It's an opportunity for artists to present their work to invited curators, scholars, instructors, gallerists, designers, writers, critics, publishers, collectors, editors and others engaged with the photographic community.

For this edition of Festival X we're trying out a new model of portfolio review. A large number of the artists participating will have been invited especially to show their work for the day from a list suggested by the invited reviewers. The artists will set up their work on individual tables in an open fair-like design. Reviewers would then move freely from table to table over the course of the day, engaging in exchanges with artists about the work presented.
